How to Spend 24 Hours in San Antonio

My husband and I went on a mini Southern road trip (with no kids)! We spent some time in Waco, San Antonio, and New Orleans.

Things to Do:

1. Walk the River Walk

I enjoyed walking the River Walk in the early morning before it got crowded.

Any Miss Congeniality fans out there? They filmed some of the movie along the River Walk at the Arneson River Theater pictured below!

La Villita is full of artisan shops covering 1 square block in downtown San Antonio right off the River Walk.

You can climb the steps right next to the Arneson Theater.

They also have little plaques on some of the shops/buildings with some history (see pic below)!
